"A Window On Clark County History"

Clark County Indiana Museum

Our Mission

To collect, preserve display and interpret artifacts pertaining to the history of Clark County. These artifacts are messages from our past to the people of the future.

The Clark County Museum, Inc., was formed in 2008 by a group of people who were collectors of Clark County artifacts and memorabilia and who understood the importance of our county both in  Indiana and United States history.  Our goal was to establish a county museum dedicated to the acquisition, storage, display, and interpretation of these artifacts.

Our collection ranges from the era of Native Americans to the present and includes family papers, photograph collections, early maps, clothing, Edwardian toys, vehicles, artworks, and archaeological artifacts of Clark County, to name a few.

We are located at The Clark County Museum, 725 Michigan Avenue, Jeffersonville Indiana  47130.
